Why I built Spellio
I'm a spelling practitioner, and when I started out, I had to invent my own system for everything. Recording video and audio of sessions. Writing up transcripts. Making, tracking, and completing goals for each speller. Researching, fine-tuning, and formatting new lessons, then keeping track of which speller did which lesson and where we left off. Tracking accuracy and regulation. Sharing with parents through YouTube, Google Drive, and Word.
That was about 10 different things to manage, costing me money, hours of my time, and reams of paper. And every hour spent on admin was an hour not spent on spelling.
